Doulton’s Old Factory
The old Doulton factory in Nile Street Burslem is gradually decaying away. I presume that sometime soon it will be demolished to make way for another part of the Stoke-on-Trent regeneration.
The Doulton factory shop is now the Outlet Superstore situated in Festival Park, Etruria.

I can remember going to the factory shop in Burslem not long before it closed.
The factory was a large part of life in Burslem for very many people
It was a ruin when I worked there, the only difference now, is the roof is a little bit worse than it was then.
